 AN ACT authorizing the town of New Berlin, county of Chenango, to reduce
   the  maximum  speed  limit along a West Shore Road in  such town to 15
   miles per hour
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section  1.  Notwithstanding any general, special or local law or code
 to the contrary, the town board of the  town  of  New  Berlin,  Chenango
 county, may by local law, ordinance, order, rule or regulation establish
 maximum  speed limits at not less than fifteen miles per hour along West
 Shore Road within such town.
   ยง 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
