 Introduced  by  COMMITTEE  ON RULES -- (at request of M. of A. L. Rosen-
   thal) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Health
 
 AN ACT permitting New York residents to receive  a  coronavirus  disease
   2019 (COVID-19) vaccine at no cost
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Notwithstanding any  provision  to  the  contrary,  once  a
 vaccine  for  the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is approved by the
 federal Food and Drug Administration and the New York  state's  clinical
 advisory task force, a person shall be eligible to receive a coronavirus
 disease  2019  (COVID-19)  vaccine  at  no cost, without regard to immi-
 gration status, if such person is a resident of New York state and inel-
 igible to participate in any federal program to receive such vaccine  at
 no cost.
   §  2.  Funding, within available appropriations, shall be provided for
 administering a coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine pursuant  to
 section one of this act.
   § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
