 AN ACT in relation to establishing the legislative task force on  online
   sports  betting  and  providing for the repeal of such provisions upon
   the expiration thereof
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Legislative task force on online sports betting. A legisla-
 tive task force on online sports betting is hereby established to:
   (a)  Identify policies and programs that mitigate the risks and conse-
 quences associated with online sports betting  and  promote  responsible
 gaming  practices for all online sports betting activities authorized in
 New York state.
   (b) Recommend policies and procedures to be promulgated in regulations
 by the New York state gaming commission  and  its  divisions  to  ensure
 responsible  online sports betting in all facilities licensed or enfran-
 chised by such commission or divisions.
   (c) Recommend a structure by which all  online  sports  betting  regu-
 lations  promulgated  by  the  commission  or  its  divisions  shall  be
 enforced, including but not limited to penalties for violations of regu-
 latory standards and corrective action.
   (d) Identify methods to measure effectiveness  of  any  online  sports
 betting procedures implemented in New York state.
   §  2.  Composition.  The task force shall consist of ten members. Task
 force members appointed or designated shall have experience  and  exper-
 tise in one or more of the following areas:
   1) the implementation of online sports betting;
   2) the treatment of problem gambling; and
   3)  administration  of  online sports betting programs within a gaming
 facility.
