 AN  ACT to amend the county law, in relation to authorizing the counties
   of Nassau and Suffolk to waive certain fees  for  veteran's  organiza-
   tions
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. The county law is amended by adding a new section 226-c  to
 read as follows:
   §  226-C. WAIVER OF FEES FOR VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS. THE COUNTY LEGIS-
 LATURE OF NASSAU COUNTY OR SUFFOLK COUNTY IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED TO  WAIVE
 FEES,  INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BUILDING PERMIT REVIEW FEES AND FEES
 ASSOCIATED WITH CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TO ANY POST  OR  HALL  OWNED  BY  A
 NOT-FOR-PROFIT  CONGRESSIONALLY CHARTERED VETERANS' ORGANIZATION LOCATED
 IN SUCH COUNTY.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
