LAVALLE -- read twice and ordered print- ed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules IN ASSEMBLY -- Introduced by M. of A. THIELE -- read once and referred to the Committee on Local Governments AN ACT authorizing the alienation of certain parklands in the town of East Hampton, county of Suffolk THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subject to the provisions of this act, the town of East Hampton, in the county of Suffolk, acting by and through its governing body and upon such terms and conditions as determined by such body, is hereby authorized to discontinue as parklands and alienate the lands more particularly described in section three of this act for the purpose of establishing a hospital emergency room. § 2. The authorization contained in section one of this act shall be effective only upon the condition that the town of East Hampton dedicate an amount equal to or greater than the fair market value of the park- lands being discontinued towards the acquisition of new parklands and/or capital improvements to existing parkland and recreational facilities. § 3. The parklands authorized by section one of this act to be alien- ated are described as follows: ALL that certain plot, piece or parcel of land, with buildings and improvements thereon erected, situate, lying and being in the Town of East Hampton, County of Suffolk and State of New York, more particularly bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the easterly side of Pantigo Place, as shown on Map of Pospisil Associates, said point being distant 638.68 feet northerly, as measured along the easterly side of Pantigo Place from the northerly side of Montauk Highway, Route 27; EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted.
