S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 9826 I N A S S E M B L Y February 19, 2020 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. LIFTON -- read once and referred to the Committee on Local Governments AN ACT relating to the dissolution of the Village of Groton industrial development agency and the disposition of the assets thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the facilities and operations of the Village of Groton industrial development agency in Tompkins county, as established by chapter 552 of the laws of 1983, and as continued by chapter 364 of the laws of 1993, is hereby dissolved. All unexpended funds, liabilities and property of the Village of Groton industrial development agency shall be transferred to the Village of Groton. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD15228-01-0
