Introduced  by  Sen.  BROOKS -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
  printed to be committed to the Committee on Veterans, Homeland Securi-
  ty and Military Affairs

AN ACT to amend the civil service law, in relation to 55-c programs

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1. Section 55-c of the civil service law, as amended by chap-
ter 603 of the laws of 1995, is amended by adding a new subdivision 3 to
read as follows:
  3. WHEN POSTING JOBS THAT FALL UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF  THIS  SECTION,
ALL  STATE AGENCIES SHALL PROMINENTLY IDENTIFY ON SUCH POSTING THAT SUCH
JOB IS "55-C ELIGIBLE".
  § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
