BILL NUMBER: S6020 SPONSOR: RAMOS TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend chapter 413 of the laws of 2003 amending the labor law relating to the self-employment assistance program and other matters, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof PURPOSE OF THE BILL: This bill would extend to December 7, 2021 certain provisions relating to the establishment and operation of the state's Self-Employment Assistance Program (SEAP). SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS: Section 1 Amends § 10 of Chapter 413 of the Laws of 2003 amending the Labor Law relating to the establishment and operation of the Self-Em- ployment Assistance Program (SEAP) to extend the provision until Decem- ber 7, 2021.

RAMOS -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Labor AN ACT to amend chapter 413 of the laws of 2003 amending the labor law relating to the self-employment assistance program and other matters, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 10 of chapter 413 of the laws of 2003 amending the labor law relating to the self-employment assistance program and other matters, as amended by chapter 180 of the laws of 2017, is amended to read as follows: § 10. This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that sections eight and nine of this act shall expire December 7,  2021 when upon such date the provisions of such sections shall be deemed repealed. § 2.
