 Introduced  by  Sen. METZGER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Elections
 
 AN ACT to amend part BBB of chapter 55 of the laws of 2019 amending  the
   election law relating to providing uniform polling hours during prima-
   ry elections, in relation to the effectiveness thereof

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 2 of part BBB of chapter 55 of the  laws  of  2019,
 amending  the  election  law relating to providing uniform polling hours
 during primary elections, is amended to read as follows:
   § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of January after it shall
 have become a law and shall apply to any election held  [120]  115  days
 after.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
