BILL NUMBER: S7150 SPONSOR: RIVERA TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the public health law, in relation to a quorum of the advisory council on lead poisoning prevention PURPOSE: To provide that a majority of the appointed voting membership shall constitute a quorum for the Advisory Council on Lead Poisoning Prevention. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section one amends section 1370 of the public health law, by adding a new paragraph 3 to provide that a majority of the Advisory Council on Lead Poisoning Prevention's appointed voting membership shall constitute a quorum.

RIVERA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Health AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to a quorum of the advisory council on lead poisoning prevention THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision 3 of section 1370-b of the public health law is renumbered subdivision 4, and a new subdivision 3 is added to read as follows: 3. A MAJORITY OF THE APPOINTED VOTING MEMBERSHIP OF THE COUNCIL SHALL CONSTITUTE A QUORUM. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
