OTIS -- read once and referred to the Committee on Ways and Means AN ACT to amend chapter 89 of the laws of 2009 amending the tax law relating to the imposition of an occupancy tax in the city of Rye, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 89 of the laws of 2009 amending the tax law relating to the imposition of an occupancy tax in the city of Rye, as amended by chapter 166 of the laws of 2018, is amended to read as follows: § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be deemed repealed September 1, [2021] 2024. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD02856-01-1

OTIS -- read once and referred to the Committee on Ways and Means -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT to amend the tax law, in relation to making technical changes thereto; and to amend chapter 89 of the laws of 2009 amending the tax law relating to the imposition of an occupancy tax in the city of Rye, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 1202-aa of the tax law, as added by chapter 89 of the laws of 2009, is renumbered section 1202-aaa. § 2. Section 2 of chapter 89 of the laws of 2009 amending the tax law relating to the imposition of an occupancy tax in the city of Rye, as amended by chapter 166 of the laws of 2018, is amended to read as follows: § 2.
