VANEL -- read once and referred to the Committee on Governmental Operations AN ACT to amend chapter 602 of the laws of 1980 relating to authorizing the commissioner of general services to sell or lease certain lands in Queens county to the Hollis-Bellaire-Queens Village Athletic Associ- ation, Inc. and to amend chapter 841 of the laws of 1990 relating to authorizing the commissioner of general services to sell or lease certain lands in Queens county to the Hollis-Bellaire-Queens Village Athletic Association, Inc., in relation to permissible uses of the conveyed property THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 602 of the laws of 1980 is amended to read as follows: § 2. The commissioner of general services is authorized to fix and determine the terms and conditions of the conveyance or lease including the monetary consideration or rent payable to the state; provided, however, that the commissioner of general services shall retain a rever- sionary interest in the subject property should such property cease to be used by the Hollis-Bellaire-Queens Village Athletic Association, Inc. as a Little League baseball facility, A VENUE FOR OTHER NON-PROFESSIONAL SPORTS EVENTS OR A VENUE FOR CIVIC, CHARITABLE, CULTURAL, RELIGIOUS OR EDUCATIONAL EVENTS. § 2. Section 2 of chapter 841 of the laws of 1990 is amended to read as follows: § 2. The commissioner of general services is authorized to fix and determine the terms and conditions of the conveyance or lease including the monetary consideration or rent payable to the state; provided, however, that the commissioner of general services shall retain a rever- sionary interest in the subject property should such property cease to be used by the Hollis-Bellaire-Queens Village Athletic Association, Inc.
