 Introduced  by Sen. STAVISKY -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Codes
 
 AN ACT to amend the penal law, in relation  to  adding  transmission  of
   unwanted  lewd  or  intimate  images  to  the definition of aggravated
   harassment in the second degree

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1. Section 240.30 of the penal law is amended by adding a new
 subdivision 2-a to read as follows:
   2-A. WITH THE INTENT TO  HARASS,  ANNOY,  THREATEN  OR  ALARM  ANOTHER
 PERSON,  AND  WITH  NO  PURPOSE  OF  LEGITIMATE COMMUNICATION TRANSMITS,
 SENDS, OR GIVES UNWANTED LEWD OR INTIMATE IMAGES TO ANOTHER PERSON; OR
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
