BILL NUMBER: S199 SPONSOR: KAPLAN TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the transportation law, in relation to requiring the department of transportation to annually prepare and submit to the legislature certain highway pavement and bridge condition reports PURPOSE: This legislation requires an annual report highway pavement and bridge report be submitted to the Legislature. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: § 1- Amends section 14 of the transportation law by adding subdivision 36, which requires a report be made regarding highway and bridge condi- tions, capital letting and implementation, capital program accomplish- ments, and non MTA downstate suburban and upstate transit capital programs to be distributed by the governor.
