 AN ACT to amend the labor law, in relation to requiring certain  elected
   officials  to  sign  and  publicly  post  a  certificate  proving they
   completed their sexual harassment training program
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section 201-g of the labor law is amended by adding a new
 subdivision 5 to read as follows:
   5. UPON COMPLETION OF A SEXUAL HARASSMENT TRAINING PROGRAM, THE GOVER-
 NOR, LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR, ATTORNEY GENERAL, COMPTROLLER AND  MEMBERS  OF
 THE  STATE LEGISLATURE SHALL SIGN A CERTIFICATE UNDER PENALTY OF PERJURY
 ATTESTING TO THE  INDIVIDUAL'S  COMPLETION  OF  SUCH  SEXUAL  HARASSMENT
 TRAINING  PROGRAM.  THE GOVERNOR, LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR, ATTORNEY GENERAL,
 AND COMPTROLLER SHALL EACH POST ON THEIR WEBSITE A COPY OF THEIR  SIGNED
 CERTIFICATION  WITHIN  THIRTY  DAYS OF COMPLETION OF SUCH TRAINING.  THE
 SECRETARY OF THE NEW YORK STATE SENATE SHALL POST ON THE NEW YORK  STATE
 SENATE GOVERNMENTAL WEBSITE A COPY OF EACH MEMBER'S SIGNED CERTIFICATION
 WITHIN  THIRTY DAYS OF COMPLETION OF SUCH TRAINING. THE CLERK OF THE NEW
 YORK STATE ASSEMBLY SHALL POST ON THE NEW YORK  STATE  ASSEMBLY  GOVERN-
 MENTAL WEBSITE A COPY OF EACH MEMBER'S SIGNED CERTIFICATION WITHIN THIR-
 TY DAYS OF COMPLETION OF SUCH TRAINING.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
