 AN ACT to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to waiv-
   ing certain liquor license renewal fees; and providing for the  repeal
   of such provisions upon expiration thereof

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 66 of the alcoholic beverage control law is amended
 by adding a new subdivision 11 to read as follows:
   11. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY PROVISION TO THE CONTRARY,  THE  FEE  FOR  ANY
 RENEWAL  OF  A  LICENSE REQUIRED PURSUANT TO SECTIONS SIXTY-FOUR, SIXTY-
 FOUR-A, SIXTY-FOUR-B, SIXTY-FOUR-C OR SIXTY-FOUR-D OF THIS ARTICLE SHALL
 BE WAIVED DURING THE CALENDAR YEAR  ENDING  DECEMBER  THIRTY-FIRST,  TWO
 THOUSAND TWENTY-THREE.
   §  2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall apply to annual
 liquor license fees due on and after January 1, 2023; provided  however,
 this  act  shall  expire  December  31,  2023,  when  upon such date the
 provisions of this act shall be deemed repealed.
