 AN ACT to create the 3D printed housing task force
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1.  1. There is hereby created a  task  force  to  promote  3D
 printed  housing  in  New York state. The task force shall consist of 11
 members as follows: 5 members  appointed  by  the  governor;  2  members
 appointed  by the temporary president of the senate; 2 members appointed
 by the speaker of the assembly; and 2 members appointed by the mayor  of
 the city of New York. One representative shall be from a building trades
 union;  one  representative  shall be from a business that constructs 3D
 printed housing; one representative shall be an expert on design who  is
 a  licensed  architect;  one  representative  shall be a certified urban
 planner; one representative shall be a representative of the division of
 homes and community renewal; and one  representative shall be  a  member
 of the department  of state division of building standards and codes.
   2.  The  task force shall develop recommendations on how the state can
 promote large scale construction of 3D printed  homes  with  respect  to
 legislation,  regulatory environment, government initiatives and induce-
 ments.
   3. The task force shall issue a report to the governor and the  legis-
 lature, on or before July 1, 2025 on the promotion of 3D printed housing
 in  New  York state, including state and local initiatives, regulations,
 and incentives  that  will  promote  the  manufacturing  of  affordable,
 sustainable,  and  safe 3D printed housing while creating and preserving
 living wage jobs. The report shall be made available on the  website  of
 the division of homes and community renewal.
   4.  For purposes of this act, "3D printed housing" is defined as resi-
 dences manufactured primarily through the depositing, joining, or  soli-
