S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 7756 2023-2024 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y June 6, 2023 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. PALMESANO -- read once and referred to the Committee on Governmental Operations AN ACT authorizing the commissioner of general services to transfer and convey certain unappropriated state land to the town of Romulus THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subject to the provisions of this act but notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the commissioner of general services is hereby authorized, subject to the consent of the commission- er of corrections and community supervision, to transfer and convey to the town of Romulus in the county of Seneca, the state land described in section two of this act, owned by the department of corrections and community supervision and being in the town of Romulus in the county of Seneca, declared to be abandoned state land by the department of corrections and community supervision. The transfer and conveyance of the land described in section two of this act shall be made in consider- ation of the sum of one dollar and upon such conditions as the commis- sioner of general services may deem proper. § 2. The lands authorized by section one of this act to be transferred and conveyed shall be those parcels as follows: All those parcels of land situate in the Town of Ovid, County of Sene- ca and State of New York, being more particularly described as follows: Building 122 (Water Pump Station) A rectangular parcel of land generally being bounded by the following boundaries: (a) On the North being 5 feet northerly of and parallel to Building 122; (b) On the East being 10 feet easterly of and parallel to Building 122; (c) On the South being 25 feet southerly of and parallel to Building 122; and EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted.
