 AN  ACT in relation to granting Gabrielle Tessler and Chana Witkes-Kauf-
   man continued health coverage in retirement
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary,
 and  solely  for the purpose of determining vesting for continued health
 coverage in retirement pursuant to subdivision b of  section  12-126  of
 the  administrative  code of the city of New York, Gabrielle Tessler and
 Chana Witkes-Kaufman, employees  of  the  board  of  education  who  are
 members  of  the  board  of  education  retirement  system, shall not be
 subject to local law number nine of 2010 of the city of New York,  shall
 be  deemed  to  have  become employed by the board of education prior to
 April 27, 2010, and shall be subject to clause (B) of subparagraph 3  of
 paragraph  ii  of  subdivision a of section 12-126 of the administrative
 code of the city of New York.
   § 2. The associated costs of the implementation of this act  shall  be
 borne entirely by the city of New York.
   § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.

 AN ACT in relation to granting Gabrielle Tessler continued health cover-
   age in retirement
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
