   tee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions
 
 AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation  to  prohibiting
   time limits or curfews on fares provided to students
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. The public authorities law  is  amended  by  adding  a  new
 section 1266-n to read as follows:
   §  1266-N. STUDENT FARE POLICY.  NOTWITHSTANDING ANY PROVISION OF LAW,
 RULE OR REGULATION TO THE CONTRARY, THE AUTHORITY  SHALL  NOT  IMPOSE  A
 TIME  LIMIT OR CURFEW ON THE USE OF A FARE PROVIDED AS PART OF A STUDENT
 FARE PROGRAM.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
