 AN ACT authorizing the town  of  Kinderhook  to  transfer  ownership  of
   certain parkland to the Valatie Volunteer Rescue Squad, Inc.
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. (a) Subject to the provisions of  this  act,  the  town  of
 Kinderhook,  county  of  Columbia,  acting through its governing body is
 hereby authorized to discontinue the use of town parkland  more  partic-
 ularly  described in section two of this act, and to convey its interest
 in the real property to the Valatie Volunteer Rescue Squad, Inc.    upon
 terms  agreed  upon  by the town of Kinderhook and the Valatie Volunteer
 Rescue Squad, Inc. for use by the Valatie Volunteer Rescue  Squad,  Inc.
 for  the  purpose of providing emergency medical services to the town of
 Kinderhook.
   (b) Any revenues received by the town of Kinderhook from the  transfer
 shall  be used for capital improvements of existing park or recreational
 and/or the acquisition of additional park or recreational facilities.
   § 2. The parklands authorized to be conveyed by the town of Kinderhook
 in section one of  this  act  are  located,  bounded  and  described  as
 follows:
   ALL  that certain piece or parcel of land, situate, lying and being in
 the Town of Kinderhook, County of  Columbia,  and  State  of  New  York,
 bounded and described as follows:
   BEGINNING  at  a  steel  pin at the southwesterly corner of the parcel
 herein to be described, said point of beginning being at the  southeast-
 erly  corner  of the lands now or formerly of The State of New York said
 point of beginning being further referenced as S 66°10'52" E a  distance
 of  380.86  feet  from  a  steel  pin  on the easterly side of a Town of
 Kinderhook highway commonly known as State Farm Road;
 thence from said point of beginning and along lands of said State of New
 York:  N 34°15'00" E a distance of 456.84 feet to a point;

  EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                       [ ] is old law to be omitted.

 AN  ACT  authorizing  the  town  of  Kinderhook to transfer ownership of
   certain parkland to the Valatie Volunteer Rescue Squad, Inc.

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
