 AN  ACT in relation to establishing the climate leadership and community
   protection act cost task force
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section  1.  Climate leadership and community protection act cost task
 force. 1. There is hereby created, within  the  New  York  state  energy
 research  and  development authority, a climate leadership and community
 protection act cost task force, which shall consist of fourteen  members
 to be appointed as follows:
   (a)  The  president of the New York state energy research and develop-
 ment authority or their designee;
   (b) The commissioner of environmental conservation or their designee;
   (c) The commissioner of the department  of  public  service  or  their
 designee;
   (d) The president of the New York power authority or their designee;
   (e) One member to be appointed by the governor;
   (f)  One  member  to  be  appointed  by the temporary president of the
 senate;
   (g) One member to be appointed by the speaker of the assembly;
   (h) One member to be appointed by the minority leader of the senate;
   (i) One member to be appointed by the minority leader of the assembly;
   (j) One member to be appointed by the New York energy coalition;
   (k) One member to be appointed by the independent power  producers  of
 New York;
   (l)  One  member to be appointed by New York independent system opera-
 tor;
   (m) One member to be appointed by the business  council  of  New  York
 state; and
   (n) One member to be appointed by the largest group representing rate-
 payers.
