 AN ACT to amend the cannabis law, in relation  to  requiring  applicants
   for  a license to cultivate, process, distribute, deliver, or dispense
   cannabis within the state to pay a prevailing  wage  or  have  entered
   into  a  project  labor agreement for the construction of buildings or
   transportation of items relating to  the  activity  described  in  the
   application
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1.  Paragraphs (l) and (m) of subdivision 1 of section  64  of
 the cannabis law are amended and a new paragraph (n) is added to read as
 follows:
   (l)  the applicant satisfies any other conditions as determined by the
 board; [and]
   (m) if the applicant is a registered organization, the  organization's
 maintenance of effort in manufacturing and/or dispensing and/or research
 of medical cannabis for certified patients and caregivers[.]; AND
   (N)  THE  APPLICANT  WILL  PAY A PREVAILING WAGE OR HAS ENTERED INTO A
 PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ANY BUILDINGS WHICH WILL
 BE USED TO PROPERLY CARRY ON THE ACTIVITY DESCRIBED IN  THE  APPLICATION
 AND FOR TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE GROWER TO THE APPLICANT OR TO AND
 FROM THE MANUFACTURER TO THE RETAIL LICENSEE.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
