 AN  ACT  to  amend  the  executive  law, in relation to code enforcement
   training programs for code enforcement personnel

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Paragraph  (a)  of  subdivision 4 of section 376-a of the
 executive law, as amended by chapter 468 of the laws of 2017, is amended
 to read as follows:
   (a) Approve code enforcement training programs  for  code  enforcement
 personnel THAT CAN BE COMPLETED ONLINE, WITH FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING OPTIONS
 THAT  ALLOW  FOR  COMPLETION  AT  THE DESIRED TIME AND PACE OF SUCH CODE
 ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL,  and  issue  certificates  of  approval  to  such
 programs, and revoke such approval or certificate;
   §  2.  This  act  shall take effect on the sixtieth day after it shall
 have become a law.
