 Introduced  by  Sen.  COMRIE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Corporations,  Authorities
   and Commissions
 
 AN  ACT  to  amend  the  public authorities law, in relation to creating
   annual reporting obligations by municipal housing authorities  to  the
   authorities  budget  office with respect to state-funded activities of
   such municipal housing authorities
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.   Section 2801 of the public authorities law is amended by
 adding a new subdivision 4 to read as follows:
   4. MUNICIPAL HOUSING AUTHORITIES.  FOR THE MUNICIPAL HOUSING AUTHORITY
 FISCAL YEAR ENDING IN THE CALENDAR YEAR FOLLOWING THE CALENDAR  YEAR  OF
 THE  EFFECTIVE  DATE OF THIS SUBDIVISION, AND ANNUALLY THEREAFTER, EVERY
 MUNICIPAL HOUSING AUTHORITY CREATED BY  THE  PUBLIC  HOUSING  LAW  SHALL
 SUBMIT TO THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, THE CHIEF FISCAL OFFICER, AND THE
 AUTHORITIES  BUDGET OFFICE FOR THEIR INFORMATION, ANNUALLY NOT MORE THAN
 NINETY DAYS AND NOT LESS THAN SIXTY DAYS BEFORE THE COMMENCEMENT OF  ITS
 FISCAL  YEAR,  IN THE FORM SUBMITTED TO ITS BOARD, BUDGET INFORMATION ON
 OPERATIONS AND CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION SETTING FORTH THE ESTIMATED RECEIPTS
 AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR AND THE CURRENT  FISCAL  YEAR,
 AND  THE  ACTUAL RECEIPTS AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE LAST COMPLETED FISCAL
 YEAR, FOR ALL PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES FUNDED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY  THE
 STATE.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
