   opment and Small Business
 
 AN ACT to amend the economic development law, in relation to designating
   water development representatives for each department of environmental
   conservation region of the state

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Subdivision 49 of section 100 of the  economic  development
 law,  as  renumbered  by  chapter 728 of the laws of 2021, is renumbered
 subdivision 50 and a new subdivision 49 is added to read as follows:
   49. TO DESIGNATE A REPRESENTATIVE FOR EACH DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL
 CONSERVATION REGION OF THE STATE TO SERVE AS THE POINT  OF  CONTACT  FOR
 MUNICIPALITIES  LOCATED IN EACH SUCH REGION TO AID IN THE ACQUISITION OF
 RESOURCES AND FUNDING FOR WATER PROJECTS.
   § 2. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day  after  it  shall
 have become a law.

 AN ACT to amend the  environmental  conservation  law,  in  relation  to
   designating  water  development representatives for each environmental
   region of the state
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section  15-1109 of the environmental conservation law is
 amended by adding a new subdivision 7 to read as follows:
   7. THE DEPARTMENT SHALL DESIGNATE A REPRESENTATIVE FOR  EACH  ENVIRON-
 MENTAL  REGION OF THE STATE TO SERVE AS THE POINT OF CONTACT FOR MUNICI-
 PALITIES LOCATED IN EACH SUCH  REGION  TO  AID  IN  THE  ACQUISITION  OF
 RESOURCES AND FUNDING FOR WATER PROJECTS.
   §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall
