 Introduced  by Sen. MARTINEZ -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government
 
 AN ACT to amend chapter 643 of the  laws  of  2019  amending  the  local
   finance  law, relating to establishing an electronic open auction bond
   sale pilot program, in relation to the effectiveness thereof

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section 2 of chapter 643 of the laws of 2019 amending the
 local finance law, relating to establishing an electronic  open  auction
 bond  sale pilot program, as amended by chapter 298 of the laws of 2021,
 is amended to read as follows:
   § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of January next  succeed-
 ing the date on which it shall have become a law and shall expire [four]
 SIX  years after such effective date, when upon such date the provisions
 of this act shall be deemed repealed.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
