TITLE OF BILL:
An act to amend chapter 672 of the laws of 1993, amending the public
authorities law relating to the construction and financing of facilities
for certain public libraries, in relation to including The Community
Library
PURPOSE:
This bill will designate The Community Library as an eligible public
library for the purposes of Dormitory Authority of the State of New York
(DASNY) financing and construction services.
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
Section one of this bill amends the public authorities law, relating to
the construction and financing of facilities for certain public
libraries, to include The Community Library.

AN ACT to amend chapter 672 of the laws of 1993, amending the public
authorities law relating to the construction and financing of facili-
ties for certain public libraries, in relation to including The Commu-
nity Library
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 5 of chapter 672 of the laws of 1993, amending the
public authorities law relating to the construction and financing of
facilities for certain public libraries, is amended by adding a new
subdivision 55 to read as follows:
55. THE COMMUNITY LIBRARY.
§ 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
[ ] is old law to be omitted.
