BILL NUMBER: S7007 SPONSOR: ASHBY TITLE OF BILL: An act to authorize the city of Troy to enter into a retroactive payment in lieu of taxes agreement with T.R.I.P. Redevelopment Associates PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL: To authorize the City of Troy to enter into a retroactive Payment-In- Lieu Of Tax Agreement ("PILOT Agreement") with T.R.I.P. Redevelopment Associates, granting an exemption from real property taxes pursuant to Section 125 of the Private Housing Finance law for the 2021 and 2022 assessment rolls for certain property in the City of Troy, County of Rensselaer. SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS: Section 1 authorizes the City of Troy, County of Rensselaer, to enter into a PILOT Agreement with T.R.I.P. Redevelopment Associates, granting an exemption from real property taxes.

Redevelopment Associates THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the city of Troy is hereby authorized to enter into a retroactive payment in lieu of taxes agreement ("PILOT agreement") with T.R.I.P.
