BILL NUMBER: S7008 SPONSOR: ASHBY TITLE OF BILL: An act to authorize the city of Troy to enter into a retroactive payment in lieu of taxes agreement with Hillside Redevelopment Associates PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL: To authorize the City of Troy enter into a retroactive Payment-In-Lieu Of Tax Agreement ("PILOT Agreement") with Hillside Redevelopment Associ- ates, granting an exemption from real property taxes pursuant to Section 125 of the Private Housing Finance law for the 2022 assessment roll for certain property in the City of Troy, County of Rensselaer. SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS: Section 1 authorizes the City of Troy, County of Rensselaer, to enter into a PILOT Agreement with Hillside Redevelopment Associates, granting an exemption from real property taxes.

ASHBY -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Cities 2 AN ACT to authorize the city of Troy to enter into a retroactive payment in lieu of taxes agreement with Hillside Redevelopment Associates THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.
