 AN  ACT  to  amend chapter 683 of the laws of 2023 amending the environ-
   mental conservation law relating to an  urban  deer  management  pilot
   program, in relation to the effectiveness thereof
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 6 of chapter 683 of the laws of 2023  amending  the
 environmental  conservation  law  relating  to  an urban deer management
 pilot program, is amended to read as follows:
   § 6. This act shall take effect on the first of January next  succeed-
 ing the date on which it shall have become a law and shall expire and be
 deemed repealed [three] SIX years after such date.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
