 AN  ACT  to amend chapter 396 of the laws of 2025 amending chapter 45 of
   the laws of 1963 relating to the use of certain moneys received by the
   Bohemia Volunteer Firefighter's Benevolent Association and  moderniza-
   tion of certain language, in relation to the effectiveness thereof

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 396 of the laws of 2025 amending chap-
 ter 45 of the laws of  1963  relating  to  the  use  of  certain  moneys
 received  by  the Bohemia Volunteer Firefighter's Benevolent Association
 and modernization of certain language, and providing for its powers  and
 duties, is amended to read as follows:
   §  2.  This act shall take effect immediately[; provided however, that
 the amendments to section 7 of chapter 45 of the laws of  1963  made  by
 section one of this act shall apply to taxes due on premiums received on
 and after January 1, 2026].
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
