Provides that space be set aside in the capitol for the display of the Veteran Suicide Awareness and Remembrance Flag and plaque for the raising of awareness of veteran suicide; directs the commissioner of general services to place and maintain such flag and plaque.

 AN ACT to amend the public buildings law, in relation  to  displaying  a
   flag  and  plaque  in  the  capitol  for  raising awareness of veteran
   suicide
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. The public buildings law is amended by adding a new section
 5-d to read as follows:
   § 5-D. FLAG AND PLAQUE FOR RAISING AWARENESS OF VETERAN SUICIDE IN THE
 CAPITOL.    THERE SHALL BE SET ASIDE SPACE IN THE CAPITOL BY THE COMMIS-
 SIONER OF GENERAL SERVICES FOR THE DISPLAY OF THE VETERAN SUICIDE AWARE-
 NESS AND REMEMBRANCE  FLAG  AND  PLAQUE,  AND  SUCH  COMMISSIONER  SHALL
 PROVIDE FOR THE PLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF SUCH FLAG AND PLAQUE IN THE
 CAPITOL TO RAISE AWARENESS OF VETERAN SUICIDE.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
