   SEAWRIGHT, GALLAHAN, DAVILA -- read once and referred to the Committee

 AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to authorizing a rate
   increase for in-person early intervention services

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 2557 of the public health law is amended by  adding
 a new subdivision 6 to read as follows:
   6.  NOTWITHSTANDING  ANY  INCONSISTENT PROVISION OF LAW OR REGULATION,
 FOR THE RATE YEAR COMMENCING JULY FIRST, TWO  THOUSAND  TWENTY-SIX,  THE
 COMMISSIONER  SHALL  PROVIDE FOR AN ELEVEN PERCENT INCREASE IN THE RATES
 FOR APPROVED COSTS FOR IN-PERSON EARLY INTERVENTION SERVICES RENDERED ON
 OR AFTER SUCH DATE.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
