 AN  ACT  to amend the New York city charter, in relation to construction
   and mentoring programs
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Subdivision b of section 1309 of the New York city charter,
 as  added  by  chapter  604  of  the laws of 2023, is amended to read as
 follows:
   b. Any agency may establish a mentoring program for  small  businesses
 [in  the]  THAT  PERFORM construction [trades] OR ARCHITECTURAL OR ENGI-
 NEERING SERVICES RELATED TO CONSTRUCTION.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately; provided that the  amend-
 ments to subdivision b of section 1309 of the New York city charter made
 by  section  one of this act shall not affect the repeal of such section
 and shall be deemed repealed therewith.
