 AN  ACT to amend the workers' compensation law, in relation to providing
   compensation for the loss of a fetus
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Subdivision 3 of section 15 of the workers compensation law
 is amended by adding a new paragraph (m-1) to read as follows:
   (M-1)  LOSS  OF A FETUS. COMPENSATION FOR THE LOSS OF A FETUS SHALL BE
 FOR THREE HUNDRED TWELVE WEEKS.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
