 AN ACT to amend the penal law, in relation to unlawful dissemination  of
   a personal image
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. The opening paragraph of paragraph (a) of subdivision 2  of
 section 250.70 of the penal law, as amended by chapter 30 of the laws of
 2023, is amended to read as follows:
   The  provisions  of  section [270.71] 250.71 of this article shall not
 apply to the following:
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and  shall  be  deemed  to
 have  been  in  full  force  and effect on the same date and in the same
 manner as chapter 805 of the laws of 2022, took effect.
