S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 6517 2025-2026 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y March 5, 2025 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. K. BROWN -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Codes AN ACT directing the division of criminal justice services to expand the crimes against revenue program to all counties within the state THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The division of criminal justice services shall include in the crimes against revenue program each county within the state and shall provide funding to each such county. ยง 2. This act shall take effect on the first of April next succeeding the date on which it shall have become a law. Effective immediately, the addition, amendment and/or repeal of any rule or regulation necessary for the implementation of this act on its effective date are authorized to be made and completed on or before such effective date. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD10226-01-5
