ZACCARO -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Economic Development AN ACT to amend the cannabis law, in relation to the requirements for the ratio of cannabidiol to THC for cannabinoid hemp products THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 109 of the cannabis law is amended by adding a new subdivision 4 to read as follows: 4. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF FLOWER PRODUCTS OR TOPICAL PRODUCTS, NO CANNABINOID HEMP PRODUCT SHALL CONTAIN A RATIO OF CANNABIDIOL (CBD) TO THC LESS THAN 15:1, PROVIDED HOWEVER, IF CBD IS NOT THE PRIMARY MARKETED CANNABINOID, THE SUM OF CANNABINOIDS EXCLUDING THC MUST HAVE A RATIO OF 15:1 THC OR HIGHER. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD10454-01-5
