 AN ACT to amend the general construction law, in relation to prohibiting
   the use of the term "sex work" and certain variations thereof in law
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  The  general  construction law is amended by adding a new
 article 2-B to read as follows:
 
                                ARTICLE 2-B
                             PROHIBITED TERMS
 SECTION 69. PROHIBITED TERMS.
   § 69. PROHIBITED TERMS. THE FOLLOWING TERMS SHALL BE  PROHIBITED  FROM
 BEING USED IN ANY LAW, RULE, REGULATION, OR RESOLUTION:
   A. "SEX WORK" AND "SEX WORKER"; AND
   B. "SEX-WORK" AND "SEX-WORKER".
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
