 AN ACT permitting the city of Saratoga Springs  to  adopt  a  resolution
   requesting further restriction of hours of sale of alcoholic beverages
   within such city
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of subdivision 11 of section
 17 of the alcoholic beverage control law or any other provision  of  law
 to  the  contrary, the legislative body of the city of Saratoga Springs,
 may adopt a resolution requesting further restriction of hours  of  sale
 of  alcoholic  beverages  within  such city, and upon notice and hearing
 within such city, the authority shall approve or disapprove  such  hours
 within such city.
   §  2.  The  city of Saratoga Springs must adopt such resolution within
 twelve months after the effective date of this act.
   § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
