 AN ACT to amend the tax law, in relation to technical  changes;  and  to
   amend chapter 433 of the laws of 2022 amending the tax law relating to
   permitting the village of Cold Spring to impose a hotel and motel tax,
   in relation to the effectiveness thereof
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Section 1202-hh of the tax law, as added by chapter 433  of
 the laws of 2022, is renumbered section 1202-hh-2.
   §  2.    Section 2 of chapter 433 of the laws of 2022 amending the tax
 law relating to permitting the village of Cold Spring to impose a  hotel
 and motel tax is amended to read as follows:
   §  2.  This  act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be
 deemed repealed [3 years after such date] JULY 21, 2027.
   § 3.  This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however,  that
 the  amendments to section 1202-hh of the tax law made by section one of
 this act shall not affect the repeal of such section and shall be deemed
 repealed therewith.
