S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 8694 2025-2026 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y May 29, 2025 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. KAY -- read once and referred to the Committee on Health AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to making technical corrections THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subparagraph (i) of paragraph (c) of subdivision 2 of section 2808-f of the public health law, as added by chapter 637 of the laws of 2024, is amended to read as follows: (i) is a nonprofit corporation that operates one hundred ten adult beds licensed under article sixteen of [this chapter] THE MENTAL HYGIENE LAW; or § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to have been in full force and effect on and after December 21, 2024. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD13245-01-5
