AN ACT authorizing the city of New York to transfer and convey certain
state land to the Amity Little League, Inc.; and providing for the
repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Subject to the provisions of this act but notwithstanding
any other provision of law to the contrary, the city of New York acting
through The New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services
is hereby authorized to transfer and convey to the Amity Little League,
Inc., in consideration of one dollar and upon such other consideration
as the commissioner of The New York City Department of Citywide Services
may deem proper, the land known or formerly known as the Amity Little
League Baseball Complex and more particularly described in section two
of this act to be used for the purposes of recreational, sporting,
educational, and community development purposes.
§ 2. The lands authorized by section one of this act to be transferred
and conveyed are as follows:
ALL that certain plot, piece or parcel of land, situate, lying and
being in Brooklyn, County of Kings, City of New York and State of New
York, being bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at an intersection of the southerly side of Avenue V and the
easterly side of Brigham Street,
RUNNING THENCE southerly along the easterly side of Brigham Street to
the point of intersection of the easterly side of Brigham Street and
northerly face of concrete base-wall for the chain link fence dividing
the property of PS-194 and the property of Amity Little League Ball
Field 315.42 feet,
THENCE easterly along the line forming an interior angle with the
easterly side of Brigham Street of 90 degrees 02 minutes 12 seconds and

along the northerly side of said concrete base-wall a distance of 200.00
feet to a point on the westerly side of Knapp Street,
THENCE northerly along the westerly side of Knapp Street, which is
forming an interior angle with the previous course of 89 degrees 57
minutes 48 seconds a distance of 441.19 feet to an intersection with the
southerly side of Avenue V,
THENCE southwesterly, along the southerly side of Avenue V a distance
of 236.19 feet, to the point or place of BEGINNING
This parcel contains 75,661.48 square feet mor or less.
§ 3. The description in section two of this act of the land to be
conveyed is not intended to be a legal description but is intended to
identify the parcel to be conveyed. As a condition of the transfer, the
Amity Little League, Inc. shall submit to the commissioner of The New
York City Department of Citywide Services, for the commissioner of The
New York City Department of Citywide Services's approval, an accurate
survey and description of the lands to be conveyed, which may be used in
the conveyance thereof.
§ 4. The New York City Department of Citywide Services shall not
transfer or convey the aforesaid land unless application is made to The
New York City Department of Citywide Services by the Amity Little Leag-
ue, Inc. within one year after the effective date of this act. Said
application shall be in the form of a resolution setting forth a compre-
hensive statement approved by its managing board, acknowledging and
accepting the use restrictions set forth in section five of this act.
§ 5. Any lands transferred pursuant to this act shall be used exclu-
sively to utilize the subject property and improve the structures on the
subject property for the purpose of providing recreational, sporting,
educational and community development activities to the community and
upon termination of such use, title to the lands so transferred shall
revert to the city of New York. The reverter interest, specifying that
title to the lands so transferred shall revert to the city of New York
upon termination of such use, shall be included in any conveyance
instrument used to transfer such land pursuant to this act.
§ 6. The conveyance of any lands transferred pursuant to this act
shall be subject to the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP).
§ 7. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be
deemed repealed 40 years after such date.
