 Introduced  by  M.  of A. HEVESI, LEVENBERG -- read once and referred to
   the Committee on Children and Families
 
 AN ACT establishing the "Supporting Families Together act"; in  relation
   to  civil and criminal penalties for mandated reporters; and to repeal
   certain provisions of such law relating thereto

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. This act shall be known and may be cited as the "Supporting
 Families Together act".
   § 2. Section 420 of the social services law is REPEALED.
   §  3.  Subdivision  3  of  section  491  of the social services law is
 REPEALED.
   § 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
