 AN  ACT to amend the education law, in relation to requiring the disclo-
   sure of certain members of student  clubs  and  organizations  to  the
   college at which the club or organization is located

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. The education law is amended by adding a new section 6438-e
 to read as follows:
   § 6438-E. DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENT CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS.
 1. ANY CLUB OR ORGANIZATION APPROVED, RECOGNIZED, OR FUNDED BY A COLLEGE
 IN THE STATE SHALL DISCLOSE TO  THE  ADMINISTRATION  OF  THE  RESPECTIVE
 INSTITUTION THE NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION OF:
   (A) THE PRESIDENT, OR INDIVIDUAL ACTING IN THE CAPACITY OR FUNCTION OF
 A PRESIDENT;
   (B) THE TREASURER, OR INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING, OVERSEEING,
 OR CONTROLLING FUNDS OR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS; OR
   (C)  AN  INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING, MANAGING, OVERSEEING, OR
 ADMINISTERING COMMUNICATIONS ON SOCIAL MEDIA APPLICATIONS.
   2. THE INDIVIDUALS DISCLOSED UNDER SUBDIVISION ONE OF THIS SECTION MAY
 BE A STUDENT, FACULTY ADVISOR, OR OTHER DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. The education law is amended by adding a new section 6438-e
 to read as follows:
   § 6438-E. DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENT CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS.

   (B)  TREASURER, OR INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING, OVERSEEING, OR
 CONTROLLING FUNDS OR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS; AND
   (C) INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBLE  FOR  CREATING,  MANAGING,  OVERSEEING,  OR
 ADMINISTERING COMMUNICATIONS ON SOCIAL MEDIA APPLICATIONS.
