   printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government
 
 AN ACT authorizing the village of Upper Brookville, county of Nassau, to
   alienate and discontinue the use of certain parklands
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Subject to the provisions of this act, the village of Upper
 Brookville, county of Nassau is hereby authorized, acting by and through
 its  governing body, and upon such terms and conditions as determined by
 such governing body, to discontinue the use as parkland and alienate the
 lands described in section three of this act.
   § 2. The authorization provided for in section one of this  act  shall
 be  effective  only  upon the condition that the village of Upper Brook-
 ville dedicates the lands described in section  three  of  this  act  as
 parkland,  provided that such lands have never been used for public open
 space or municipal park purposes.
   § 3. The parklands authorized by section one of this act to be discon-
 tinued as parkland is described as follows:
   All that certain plot, piece or parcel of land, with the buildings and
 improvements erected, situate,  lying  and  being  in  the  Incorporated
 Village  of  Upper Brookville, Town of Oyster Bay, County of Nassau, and
 State of New York, more particularly described as follows:
   (1) COMMENCING AT A POINT, SAID POINT BEING LOCATED AT  THE  NORTHWEST
 TERMINUS  OF  A  LINE  JOINING THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF CHICKEN VALLEY ROAD
 WITH THE WESTERLY LINE OF WOLVER HOLLOW ROAD; RUNNING THENCE
   (2) SOUTH 61 DEGREES 55 MINUTES 11 SECONDS EAST, ALONG THE LINE
   (3) JOINING THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF CHICKEN VALLEY ROAD WITH THE WESTER-
 LY LINE OF WOLVER HOLLOW ROAD, 50.00 FEET; THENCE
   (4) SOUTH 1 3 DEGREES 36 MINUTES 0 1 SECONDS WEST 177 .66 FEET; THENCE
   (5) SOUTH 72 DEGREES 41 MINUTES 40 SECONDS WEST 39.93 FEET; THENCE
   (6) NORTH 15 DEGREES 08 MINUTES 23 SECONDS WEST 177 .23 FEET,  TO  THE
 SOUTHERLY LINE OF CHICKEN VALLEY ROAD; THENCE
   (7)  NORTH  65 DEGREES 43 MINUTES 33 SECONDS EAST, ALONG THE SOUTHERLY
 LINE OF CHICKEN VALLEY ROAD, 90.04 FEET, TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING,
