 Introduced  by  Sen.  COMRIE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Labor
 
 AN ACT to amend the labor law, in relation to the  project  notification
   fee for asbestos removal
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. Section 904 of the labor law is amended  by  adding  a  new
 subdivision 2-c to read as follows:
   2-C.  NOTWITHSTANDING ANY RULE, LAW OR REGULATION TO THE CONTRARY, THE
 PROJECT NOTIFICATION FEE IMPOSED BY  SUBDIVISION  TWO  OF  THIS  SECTION
 SHALL BE WAIVED IF THE PROJECT IS BEING UNDERTAKEN BY AN OWNER OF A ONE,
 TWO OR THREE UNIT OWNER-OCCUPIED DWELLING.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
