 AN ACT relating to permitting "A Beautiful Noise, LLC" to file an appli-
   cation for a New York city musical and theatrical production tax cred-
   it

   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law  to  the  contrary,  a
 qualified New York city musical and theatrical production company called
 "A Beautiful Noise, LLC", located at 1501 Broadway Suite, 1304 New York,
 New York, for taxable year 2022, that otherwise would have been eligible
 for  the  New York city musical and theatrical production tax credit but
 for not filing of an application by a prescribed due date set  forth  by
 the  commissioner  of economic development, shall be eligible to file an
 application for the New York city musical and theatrical production  tax
 credit for a production in 2022.
   §  2. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 24-c of the tax law or
 any other provision of law, rule or regulation to the contrary, a  claim
 for  the  New York city musical and theatrical production tax credit may
 be  filed  by  the  qualified  New  York  city  musical  and  theatrical
 production  company  located  at 1501 Broadway Suite, 1304 New York, New
 York, for tax year 2022.
   § 3. This act shall take effect immediately and shall apply to taxable
 years beginning on or after January 1, 2022 and before January 1, 2026.
