AN ACT to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in
relation to requiring the department of transportation to mark certain
potholes during paving projects
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The administrative code of the city of New York is amended
by adding a new section 19-116.1 to read as follows:
§ 19-116.1 MARKING OF POTHOLES DURING PAVING PROJECTS. DURING ANY
STREET PAVING PROJECT UNDERTAKEN BY THE DEPARTMENT, THE DEPARTMENT SHALL
MARK ANY POTHOLE DEEPER THAN ONE INCH LOCATED WITHIN THE AREA OF SUCH
PAVING PROJECT WITH FLUORESCENT PAINT.
§ 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
